Joon Park of the iconic first-generation K-pop group god recently shared his experiences with racism.

On the upcoming episode of Channel S's original show 'Im Won-hee's Gourmet Transmission,' airing on the 10th, Joon Park appears as a guest, engaging in heartfelt conversations and a food-tasting session with host Im Won-hee.

At the beginning of the show, when Im Won-hee comments, "Not much time left," Joon Park humorously responds, "Not much time left for me, soon I'll be dust!" This light-hearted exchange leaves Im Won-hee flustered, clarifying, "I meant the concert is soon. Plus, we're only a year apart in age," which brings laughter to the set. Joon Park adds, "We've decided to perform as god once a year," hinting at exciting news for fans.

Joon Park playfully corrects Im Won-hee's Korean pronunciation, saying, "It's not 'gyeran,' it's 'gyeran,'" and jokes, "Am I teaching Korean now?" His signature humor, known as 'Joonie Hyung' style, keeps the atmosphere lively. Every time he enjoys delicious food, he exclaims, "It's awesome!" showcasing his classic 90s idol reactions. He also surprises Im Won-hee by saying, "I thought you were upset because you were so quiet on other shows," and adds, "After spending three meals together today, I realized you're genuine," fostering a warm bromance.

Joon Park also opens up about his past. Reflecting on his high school graduation photo, he shares, "I looked more Asian when I was younger, but my appearance changed a lot as I grew up. I surfed and exercised a lot, so no one knew I was Korean until I revealed it." He continues, "I experienced racism as a child. Some people spat in the lunch my mother packed, and I was even hit. These experiences are reflected in the lyrics of god's song 'To Mother.'"
