Actor Tae Won-seok has captured attention with his powerful performance.

In the premiere episode of JTBC's new weekend drama 'Good Boy,' aired on May 31, Tae Won-seok made a strong impression as Shin Jae-hong, a former bronze medalist in discus throw turned police officer.

Jae-hong first appeared as a traffic safety guide wearing a mascot costume among students leaving school. When a mysterious car drove recklessly towards them, he quickly shielded the children, preventing any harm. Back at the traffic department, he declined an offer for coffee from Chief Lee (played by Nam Jin-bok) and instead retrieved a promotion exam book from the shelf. Despite his colleagues' gossip, Jae-hong's dedication to his family and his focus on the promotion exam evoked sympathy from viewers.

While conducting night traffic duty, Jae-hong spotted Kim Jong-hyun (played by Lee Sang-yi) being chased by a suspicious vehicle. Without hesitation, he removed his mascot costume and pursued them. When the driver recognized him and charged, Jae-hong delivered a thrilling action scene by hurling a metal manhole cover like a discus, smashing the car's windshield, providing a moment of catharsis.
