Im Chul-soo Intensifies Drama in 'Unknown Seoul' with Riveting Performance
Im Chul-soo injects tension into the drama 'Unknown Seoul'.

In the third episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Unknown Seoul', aired on the 31st, Im Chul-soo portrayed the chillingly rational character of Lee Chung-gu with a powerful performance.

Chung-gu becomes suspicious of Ho-soo (played by Park Jin-young) after hearing that a victim, who was supposed to settle, suddenly arrives with a lawyer. Reading Ho-soo's concern for the victim, Chung-gu immediately excludes him from the case. When Ho-soo enters the meeting, Chung-gu bluntly asks, "If it's not urgent, could you leave?" He then takes over all the cases Ho-soo was handling, leaving viewers bewildered.

Chung-gu introduces Ho-soo to a human rights lawyer, coldly questioning, "You can't just ignore the weak, powerless, and pitiful, can you? Isn't the social contribution team perfect for your tendency to prioritize protecting the weak over the team? Do you really want to continue with me?" The palpable tension between Chung-gu and Ho-soo was effectively conveyed to the audience.

Im Chul-soo's weighty performance subtly altered the atmosphere of 'Unknown Seoul'. Although senior Chung-gu cares deeply for his junior Ho-soo, he remains the most objective when it comes to cases. Through this process, Im Chul-soo erased any hint of humor, completing the character's heavy aura with charismatic eyes. With twins Mi-ji (played by Park Bo-young) and Mi-rae (played by Park Bo-young) swapping lives, Chung-gu's influence leads Ho-soo to a new beginning, promising more intriguing developments ahead.

The fourth episode of 'Unknown Seoul' airs tonight at 9:20 PM.
