ZEROBASEONE's Zhang Hao to Make Special Appearance in MBC Drama 'Let's Go to the Moon'
According to TenAsia's report on the 29th, Zhang Hao, born in 2000, is taking on the new challenge of acting. Scheduled to air in the latter half of this year, 'Let's Go to the Moon' is a comedic drama that follows the survival story of three underprivileged office workers who dive into cryptocurrency investment in hopes of turning their lives around.
The drama is based on the novel of the same name by author Jang Ryujin and boasts a star-studded cast including Lee Sun-bin, Ra Mi-ran, Jo A-ram, and Kim Young-dae. Amidst this, Zhang Hao is expected to make a memorable cameo, adding a unique flavor to the series.
Throughout 'Boys Planet,' Zhang Hao consistently ranked high but never secured the top spot until the final episode, where he made a dramatic debut as the center. He is the first foreign contestant to win a Korean idol audition show, quickly establishing himself as an all-rounder with visuals, vocals, and dance skills.
Zhang Hao's special appearance in 'Let's Go to the Moon' marks his first acting challenge among ZEROBASEONE members, except for Kim Ji-woong. Given his foreign background, there is interest in how his unique accent and vocal style will be integrated into the drama. Another insider commented, "The drama's casual genre aligns with the tastes of the MZ generation, making Zhang Hao a strategic casting choice." They added, "His strong international fanbase will help attract a global audience."
