Actor Cha Tae-hyun Experience Rare 'Achoo Syndrome' on TV Show

Actors Cha Tae-hyun displayed symptoms of the rare 'Achoo Syndrome.'

On the October 22nd episode of tvN's variety show 'Handsome Guys,' Cha Tae-hyun, Kim Dong-hyun, Lee Yi-kyung, Shin Seung-ho, and Oh Sang-wook embarked on a culinary tour in Mullae-dong.

While walking to a restaurant, Shin Seung-ho sneezed, followed by Cha Tae-hyun. Shin asked Cha, "Do you sneeze when you see sunlight too?" to which Cha replied affirmatively. When Shin asked, "Who doesn't?" Lee Yi-kyung and Oh Sang-wook raised their hands.

Shin noted, "It's about half and half," but Cha added, "It's much less common." Known as 'Photic Sneeze Reflex,' Achoo Syndrome affects approximately 20% of the global population, causing sneezing when exposed to sudden bright light or sunlight.

In other news, Cha Tae-hyun recently founded an agency with Jo In-sung. Basecamp Company represents actors Cha Tae-hyun, Jo In-sung, Jin Ki-joo, and Lim Ju-hwan.
