Singer and actor Lee Seung-gi, who recently announced his decision to cut ties with his in-laws, has clinched a victory trophy.

On the 17th, the 706th episode of '2025 Oh My Star' aired, featuring performances by Hong Ja & Lee Soo-yeon, Kim Junsu & Choi Soo-ho, Park Wan-kyu & Baek Chung-kang, Lee Seung-gi & Lee Hong-gi, and Choi Sung-soo & Ahn Sung-hoon.

The special episode kicked off with Hong Ja and Lee Soo-yeon. They chose Im Hee-sook's 'My One and Only Person is Leaving,' aiming to deliver a rich emotional performance. Their voices harmonized beautifully, leaving a lingering melancholy.

The second team, Kim Junsu and Choi Soo-ho, performed under the name 'Junsuho,' singing Song Chang-sik's 'Whale Hunting.' The performance began with a drum act, quickly drawing in the audience, and transitioned into an upbeat arrangement with dynamic dance moves. The stage was a fusion of traditional and modern elements, highlighted by unique choreography involving traditional hats. They scored 358 points, securing their first win.

The third performance featured Park Wan-kyu and Baek Chung-kang, who chose Park Joong-hoon's 'Rain and You.' Their rock ballad rendition showcased a perfect harmony of contrasting vocal styles, moving the judges. Despite their impressive performance, Kim Junsu and Choi Soo-ho maintained their lead with a second win.

Next, Lee Seung-gi and Lee Hong-gi took the stage with WOODZ's 'Drowning.' Their explosive energy and synergy captivated the audience. Despite their playful banter, their stage presence was commanding, with Lee Hong-gi's rock flair and Lee Seung-gi's strong vocals creating a powerful performance. Lee Seung-gi's high notes resonated throughout the venue, earning them 418 points and breaking Kim Junsu and Choi Soo-ho's winning streak.

The finale featured Choi Sung-soo and Ahn Sung-hoon, who performed Kim Hyun-sik's 'Making Memories,' showcasing a cross-generational emotional connection.

Ultimately, Lee Seung-gi and Lee Hong-gi celebrated their victory with an overwhelming stage presence. 'Immortal Songs' airs every Saturday at 6:05 PM on KBS 2TV.
