K-Pop Star BIBI Opens Up About Vein Surgery and Career Aspirations

On the October 14th episode of MBC's variety show 'Radio Star,' guests included Noh Sa-yeon, Hyun Young, BIBI, and YouTuber Charles Enter.
During the show, BIBI shared, "I originally made kitschy music with a 19+ age restriction, so younger or older audiences didn't really know me. But after 'Bamyanggaeng,' even elementary school students recognize me."
She added, "Previously, elementary students would ask, 'Who is she? Is she a celebrity?' But now they respond with, 'She's the Bamyanggaeng girl.'"

The condition of BIBI's current agency building also drew attention. BIBI explained, "The upper floors are used as an academy. We use the second floor and basement in Uijeongbu." The agency is run by Yoon Mi-rae and Tiger JK. Kim Gura commented, "It's not easy to run a company just because BIBI became successful."
BIBI expressed her hopes for a new office building, saying, "I want to earn a net profit of 5 billion won. For the first few years after debut, they only flew me economy, but the CEO always flew me business class. I feel for our staff who have to fly economy for 12-hour flights. I want to earn enough to charter a private jet for them."

She continued, "After filming in the cold and showering with hot water, my leg veins expanded. I ended up needing vein surgery. Even now, my legs hurt when the weather warms up."
