(G)I-DLE's Yuqi and Minnie Surprise Fans with Generous Gifts

(G)I-DLE's Yuqi has shown her deep affection for fans by giving them a generous gift.

On the 13th, Yuqi and fellow (G)I-DLE member Minnie appeared on the YouTube channel 'TEO 테오' web variety show 'Salon Drip 2'.

During the show, host Jang Do-yeon mentioned, "I heard Yuqi gave hot pot gift certificates to her fans." Yuqi explained, "I promised to buy meals for fans who came to our pre-recordings, but I was too busy to do it personally." She added, "Since I love hot pot, I sent hot pot gift certificates worth about 100,000 KRW to 100 fans."

Jang Do-yeon expressed surprise, saying, "Those fans will never leave you," to which Yuqi responded with a smile, "The fans were really happy, and so was I."

Minnie also made headlines with her generous gesture. During the broadcast, Jang Do-yeon asked, "Is it true that Minnie spent 10 million KRW of her own money to invite 100 acquaintances to a concert?" Minnie shyly confirmed, "It's only once a year." Yuqi explained, "There's a special 'Minnie Zone' where her school seniors, family, and friends sit."

Yuqi also shared a concern, "It's our concert, but we only get four invitation tickets per person, and the rest we have to pay for ourselves." Jang Do-yeon advised, "You should have included that in the contract," prompting Minnie and Yuqi to exclaim "Ah!" in unison, expressing regret. Yuqi humorously added, "It would have been nice to know earlier." Minnie mentioned, "We still have three years left on our contract," hinting at future negotiations.

Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE is set to make a comeback with their 8th mini-album 'We are' on the 19th.
