Musical actor Kim Jun-su shares behind-the-scenes stories from the musical 'Aladdin' in which he is starring

Korean singer K.Will has made history by hosting a unique episode of 'Knowing Bros' without the usual 'sister-in-law' presence.

Recently, K.Will released a new episode of 'I know Hyungsoo' on his YouTube channel 'Hyungsoo is K.Will'.

In the episode, K.Will introduced musical actors Kang Hong-seok and Kim Junsu, who are currently starring in the musical 'Aladdin'. He noted, "It's the first time having two guests, the first male guests, and the first guests here for promotion," expressing pride in the growing popularity of 'I know Hyungsoo'.

K.Will reminisced about his past collaboration with Kim Junsu on TVXQ's 'Hug', saying, "I didn't expect the lyrics of 'Hug' to turn out that way. When I first sang it, it was more of a pop R&B." Kim Junsu responded, "I didn't know 'Hug' would be the title track," to which K.Will humorously replied, "I also didn't expect to be dancing in a school uniform during my 'My Heart is Beating' days," highlighting life's unpredictability.

K.Will shared his thoughts on the 'Aladdin' musical, saying, "It was a performance with no dull moments. Even though I was sleep-deprived, it woke me up instantly." Kim Junsu added, "When I watched 'Aladdin' in New York after being cast, I was worried about jet lag, but there was no time to feel sleepy." He also shared an anecdote about contacting Kang Hong-seok after watching the show, saying, "I'm so glad I did it; it's truly the best."

Kim Junsu detailed the differences between the actors playing 'Genie'—Jung Sung-hwa, Jung Won-young, and Kang Hong-seok—emphasizing, "Kang Hong-seok's Genie is the hippest, reminiscent of Will Smith." K.Will agreed, recalling the performance, "Hong-seok was incredibly groovy and soulful." Kang Hong-seok expressed his admiration for K.Will, saying, "I've listened to your music a lot since I was young."

When K.Will praised the details of the 'Aladdin' stage and asked about their rehearsal efforts, Kim Junsu replied, "All the actors practiced immensely. The 'Aladdin' ensemble deserves double the pay." Kang Hong-seok and Kim Junsu humorously claimed to be the top two 'sweatiest' in the musical world, with Kang joking about sweating blue and K.Will recalling his experience as 'Quasimodo' in 'Notre Dame de Paris', saying he sweated red.

Kim Junsu shared a memorable moment from 'Aladdin', "There's a scene where I say the same line as 'Jasmine', and a child in the audience once shouted 'Jjijjibong', making everyone laugh. It was wonderful." Kang Hong-seok added, "It's truly joyful. When kids laugh at Genie's entrance, it gives immense energy." When asked for viewing tips, Kang Hong-seok recommended, "Come without any prior information. But even if you know, we promise it'll be fun." Kim Junsu suggested, "For those wanting to escape mundane and stifling routines, I highly recommend experiencing 2 hours and 30 minutes of pure happiness and laughter."

Finally, when K.Will posed the official 'I know Hyungsoo' question, 'Should I get married?', Kang Hong-seok strongly recommended marriage, saying, "I highly recommend it. You should get married." Kim Junsu mentioned, "There are a few people around me who strongly recommend marriage," naming actors Son Jun-ho and Kang Hong-seok.
