Brian and Hwanhee Reunite on 'Radio Star' to Share 27 Years of Friendship and Address Rumors

Brian and Hwanhee are set to showcase their 27-year-long chemistry on the upcoming episode of MBC's variety show 'Radio Star.' The duo, known for their time in the iconic group Fly to the Sky, will delve into their unique bond that began during their trainee days at SM Entertainment and address past rumors of discord.

Airing on the 30th, the 'Radio Star' episode titled 'Wise Colleague Life' will feature guests Lee Yeon-bok, Jang Shin-young, Brian, and Hwanhee.

Brian and Hwanhee will appear together on a variety show for the first time in six years, reminiscing about their Fly to the Sky days. Despite the long hiatus, their natural chemistry shines through, with Brian humorously confessing why he couldn't voice his complaints about Hwanhee in the past.

Brian amusingly recalls, "Even during our trainee days at SM, people warned me to be cautious around Hwanhee," adding, "I was scared he might throw a punch," which filled the studio with laughter.

Brian brings up an incident from their trainee days involving Hwanhee's 'fist incident.' He shares, "Hwanhee once returned late at night with blood on his hands," causing a stir in the studio. Hwanhee, feeling wronged, explains the situation, highlighting their playful banter.

Brian also shares an anecdote from their early debut days, revealing his close friendship with SES's Bada, which led him to frequently visit her waiting room. "Coming from abroad, Bada was my only friend," he admits, explaining why he was dubbed the 'Bada admirer.' He also confesses to having secretly admired singer Gummy, piquing curiosity.

Currently, Brian is facing challenges with his vocal health, making it difficult for him to continue his singing career. Hwanhee expresses his deep affection for Brian, saying, "It hurts me more when people criticize Brian." Despite the playful revelations and banter, the genuine affection between the two is evident, with Brian shedding tears while talking about Hwanhee, leaving the studio touched.
