T-ara's Eunjung Prepares for a New Role in KBS Drama 'The Queen's House'

T-ara's Eunjung, who debuted in the entertainment industry in 1996, has shared her efforts in preparing for her role as a mother in the upcoming KBS 2TV daily drama 'The Queen's House'.

Set to premiere on Monday, the 28th at 7:50 PM, 'The Queen's House' is a gripping revenge drama about a woman who believed she had a perfect life, only to have it completely upended. Eunjung plays Kang Jae-in, the daughter of the chairman of YL Group, who desires a simple life despite her privileged upbringing. Seo Jun-young transforms into Kim Do-yoon, a renowned thoracic surgeon at Korea University Hospital, who embarks on a path of revenge following a shocking incident. As anticipation builds for this thrilling daily drama, the two actors shared insights into the unique appeal and key points of 'The Queen's House' today (17th).

Eunjung stated, "Unlike my previous roles, 'The Queen's House' is a drama where betrayal leads to wounds and a descent into life's abyss, driving the narrative of revenge. The fast-paced storyline sets it apart from traditional daily dramas, making it intriguing. It's a project where I can showcase a different side of myself, and I'm sure viewers will enjoy it."

Eunjung, who worked hard to embody the elegance fitting for 'The Queen's House', explained, "I focused on a calm and composed demeanor rather than my usual cheerful and lively self, paying close attention to styling. Especially for the mother role, I prepared extensively on how to interact with children."

Seo Jun-young described his character, Kim Do-yoon, as "a character who, due to certain circumstances, resolves to take revenge and acts on it without hesitation, which is quite appealing." He also expressed his dedication to the role, saying, "Do-yoon harbors revenge internally while concealing it outwardly, so I'm working hard to portray him convincingly."
