K-Pop Star Kim Jaejoong Shares Joy of Becoming an 'Idol Grandpa'

At 39, singer and actor Kim Jaejoong has shared his excitement about becoming the first 'idol grandpa.'

On the October 13th episode of KBS Cool FM's 'Park Myung-soo's Radio Show,' the segment '11 o'clock My Hometown' featured a phone conversation with Kim Jaejoong.

Park Myung-soo asked, "What does it mean that you're becoming the first idol grandpa?" Kim Jaejoong explained, "It's a bit early to say, but one of my nieces is expecting a baby." He added, "I hope for a healthy delivery."

When asked about his feelings on becoming a grandfather, Kim Jaejoong expressed, "I'm more excited than anything else. It's both amazing and joyful. It's my first time, so it's quite fascinating."

Park Myung-soo praised Kim Jaejoong's impressive performance on the show 'Fun-Staurant,' asking why he works so hard. Kim Jaejoong replied with a laugh, "You work hard too, don't you? I have to give it my all as well." Park Myung-soo joked, "I don't work very hard, just hard enough."

On the October 4th episode of KBS 2TV's variety show 'New Release, Fun-Staurant,' Kim Jaejoong was seen preparing for his parents' 60th wedding anniversary. Park Myung-soo mentioned this, saying, "You're such a devoted son, preparing for your parents' 60th anniversary." Kim Jaejoong responded, "I have to be a good son." Park Myung-soo added, "Being good to your parents brings blessings. It's great to see you setting an example among many celebrities," creating a warm atmosphere.
