Shin Min-a Shines in Netflix's New Crime Thriller 'Bad Connection'

On October 4th, Netflix released 'Bad Connection,' a crime thriller that has been eagerly anticipated as the spiciest of the year. Highlighted as Shin Min-a's return to the genre after three years, 'Bad Connection' weaves a tale of six individuals entangled in inescapable fates.

Joo-yeon is depicted as a typical university hospital doctor, living life at a lukewarm pace rather than with passion. Her life takes a turn when she encounters a burn victim with an unknown identity, triggering past wounds and amplifying her conflicting emotions of anxiety and revenge.

Towards the end, Joo-yeon confronts Park Jae-young, the source of her suffering, with a knife, but chooses a more humane path upon seeing his disfigured state. Her decision to break free from her past in a different way than her aggressors inspires viewers to root for her journey.
Shin Min-a masterfully captures the emotional depth of her character, from anxiety and fear to bursts of anger, using subtle eye movements and controlled breathing to deliver a compelling performance.
'Bad Connection' is now streaming exclusively on Netflix.
