Sunye has hinted at the possibility of a Wonder Girls reunion.

On the October 12th episode of MBC's 'Radio Star', Sunye appeared alongside Park Kyung-lim, Ha Won-mi, and Jeong Dong-won for the 'Unlimited Challenge' special.

During the show, Sunye was asked if she felt any pressure from the rivalry with Girls' Generation during her active years. She admitted, "It would be a lie to say there was no pressure, but I think the rivalry created a good synergy effect."

Sunye also confessed, "I was always envious of Girls' Generation. They always came out looking pretty with beautiful concepts, while we were always doing retro 80s concepts that even we couldn't relate to. I often thought their albums were pretty."

When asked about a potential Wonder Girls reunion, Sunye said, "Many people ask about this. It's not that we don't have the desire; it feels like we're waiting for the right time. If a good opportunity arises, we might come together again."

Sunye made headlines in 2013 when she became the first active idol to marry, tying the knot with a Korean-Canadian missionary. She officially left Wonder Girls in July 2015, leading to her hiatus from the entertainment industry. This eventually led to the group's disbandment, and Sunye was labeled as having made a 'selfish exit.'

Addressing this, Sunye shared on a variety show, "There were misunderstandings that my marriage led to Wonder Girls' situation, but what mattered most to me was that the members respected my decision. They continued to shine as Wonder Girls and pursued their own paths. They're strong individuals, and I support them wholeheartedly. Misunderstandings tend to resolve over time."
