Joo Byung-jin and Shin Hye-sun Share Affectionate Moments on 'Can We Love Again?'

Joo Byung-jin and Shin Hye-sun expressed their mutual affection.

On the October 10th episode of tvN STORY's 'Can We Love Again?' the final date between Joo Byung-jin and Shin Hye-sun was revealed.

The two engaged in an honest conversation about their dating styles, views on marriage, and interests. Shin Hye-sun, who is 13 years younger than Joo Byung-jin, is an attorney in Australia handling divorce cases. Naturally, their conversation turned to 'divorce.' Joo Byung-jin humorously remarked, "It's a bit strange to talk about divorce when we haven't even officially started dating." Shin Hye-sun replied with a laugh, "Just in case we break up, I'll make sure it's a clean break."

Shin Hye-sun asked, "What do you think about living together before marriage, like a common-law relationship?" Joo Byung-jin responded, "I've heard young people live together to save on rent while working or studying. I wonder if that's possible for me." He jokingly added, "If you're in a hurry, maybe we should live together?" and thanked her for taking his jokes lightly. Shin Hye-sun playfully suggested, "Should we start looking for a place tomorrow?"

Joo Byung-jin asked Shin Hye-sun, "Is marriage necessary?" Shin Hye-sun replied, "It seems like the standard life path: meeting, marrying, having kids, and forming a family." Joo Byung-jin agreed with the conventional path but added, "Loving each other without the formal process of marriage is more valuable."

Joo Byung-jin took Shin Hye-sun on a beach date. He explained his choice of Shin Hye-sun among three potential partners, saying, "I thought a lot about it, but following my heart was the right choice. Each has their own charm, but..." Shin Hye-sun flirtatiously asked, "Was I more charming?" Joo Byung-jin emphasized, "The person who matches me best was my decision criterion."

Joo Byung-jin shared his thoughts on love's expiration date, saying, "Love has an initial excitement that can lead to hasty marriages. It rises and falls." Shin Hye-sun added, "Women gradually rise and then suddenly peak." Joo Byung-jin confessed, "I've never broken up because of an expiration date. I haven't dated long enough for that."

Joo Byung-jin, who prefers a gradual connection, said, "In youth, emotions flare up quickly, but now, with experience, they don't rise as easily. However, once they do, the warmth can last a lifetime."

Joo Byung-jin expressed his intention to continue seeing Shin Hye-sun, saying, "People might misunderstand and think we're getting married after three dates. But even we don't know that." He emphasized, "We need to check our temperature as we continue meeting." Shin Hye-sun agreed, "We could become lovers from friends or vice versa."

Joo Byung-jin expressed his desire to continue their relationship, saying, "Let's leave it to our hearts. The time spent with Shin Hye-sun was a thrilling fortune. If I've made mistakes or caused disappointment, please let me know as we go forward. Don't let me lead; let me follow." He added, "Whether we meet ten times, a hundred times, or a thousand times, I hope our meetings continue." Shin Hye-sun humorously suggested, "Or we could just live together."
