Joo Ji-hoon Shares Amusing Anecdote About Co-star Choo Young-woo's Messaging Habits
Actor Joo Ji-hoon humorously revealed that he never received a reply from his junior co-star Choo Young-woo on KakaoTalk.

On the 23rd, an interview with Joo Ji-hoon, who plays Baek Kang-hyuk in Netflix's 'Trauma Center,' was held at a café in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. Joo Ji-hoon sported a baseball cap, a luxury brand t-shirt, a leather jacket, silver bracelets and rings, and jeans, resembling a rapper from 'Show Me the Money.'

'Trauma Center' follows the story of a genius surgeon, Baek Kang-hyuk (played by Joo Ji-hoon), who takes on the challenge of reviving a defunct trauma team. Joo Ji-hoon portrays Baek Kang-hyuk, a brilliant surgeon who stands firm against injustice and is willing to enter a battlefield to save lives.

By Baek Kang-hyuk's side is his disciple, Yang Jae-won (played by Choo Young-woo), who is portrayed as Joo Ji-hoon's 'number one slave' student in the drama.

While Joo Ji-hoon praised Choo Young-woo's passion for acting, he expressed amusement at his communication style. He said, "Young-woo leaves messages unread. He reached out first with 'Hyung, how are you?' so I replied immediately, but then there was no response. If I reply, shouldn't he check it? I get anxious if I have 20 unread messages on KakaoTalk. But I'm not upset. It's not like I'll die without Young-woo. I have my own friends, so I don't want to force it."

He added, "Some male juniors find me intimidating. Maybe it's because I'm big and dark-skinned, so they feel threatened. But I'm actually quite nice. I treat them to meals often," he joked.

Meanwhile, 'Trauma Center' was released today (24th).
