Comedian Mirage Opens Up About Personal Struggles on 'Weekly Neighborhood Meeting'

On the 19th, the YouTube channel 'Rest If You Want' aired an episode of 'Weekly Neighborhood Meeting' titled 'What to Do When You Run Into Your Boss as a Neighbor While Going Braless?!'. Hosts Jo Hye-ryun, Kim Soo-yong, and Peter were joined by guests Mirage and Lim Hyung-joon to discuss the topic 'What if your in-laws or boss move nearby?'.
Guest Lim Hyung-joon took the opportunity to promote his new project, the Disney+ original series 'Pine'. Based on the webtoon by Yoon Tae-ho, known for 'Misaeng', 'Pine' tells the story of people gathering to find underwater relics off the coast of Sinan in the 1970s. Lim Hyung-joon shared that he plays a diver in the series. Jo Hye-ryun asked if he practiced diving, to which Lim replied, "I was confident because I swam from a young age, but scuba diving was different."

The discussion also touched on the challenges of having acquaintances move nearby. Mirage shared her experience of avoiding spontaneous meet-ups with fellow comedians Hong Yoon-hwa and Yang Se-hyung after moving to Hapjeong-dong. She admitted, "I couldn't always meet them. If I said I was at my family home in Incheon, I couldn't leave the house." Mirage humorously noted that staying home led to ordering more takeout, resulting in weight gain.

'Weekly Neighborhood Meeting' is a talk show where Jo Hye-ryun, Kim Soo-yong, and Peter engage in discussions with various guests. Season 1 concluded with 10 episodes, and the show is set to return for a second season.
