Record-Breaking Wealth Revealed on 'Divorce Deliberation Camp': Husband Offers to Split Fortune with Wife

On the episode aired on the 16th, the 7th season couples participated in relationship recovery solutions, legal consultations, and final mediation processes. The 'Kkondae' couple began their legal consultations with their respective lawyers before the divorce mediation.

The lawyer advised, "Your husband has been quite persuasive. Typically, household and childcare duties should be shared by both partners." He added, "In court, such statements might not be well-received by a judge." The wife later questioned whether she had been brainwashed, expressing her confusion.

The husband also owns seven cars and six motorcycles, stating, "The most expensive car is a Porsche," and that all vehicles were fully paid off without loans. His total assets, including audio equipment collected over 15 years, amount to millions, marking the highest wealth ever disclosed on 'Divorce Deliberation Camp.'
When asked about the timing of his wealth accumulation, the husband revealed, "Before marriage, I had nothing." He accumulated his wealth during their marriage and has since cleared all debts, including those from purchasing apartments.

The husband's side acknowledged, "The mother should have custody of the four children," and expressed a desire for them to live comfortably. However, they argued that dividing all assets was impractical, stating, "The husband needs to start anew."
The husband proposed keeping one of the four apartments, the least expensive, one of the seven cars, and one of the six motorcycles for commuting. However, he stated, "I cannot provide child support," explaining that starting over might make it difficult to commit to child support immediately. He requested understanding until he could afford it.
When asked about their divorce intentions, the husband expressed, "If I could change, if I could treat my wife differently, I wouldn't want a divorce." The wife, even after the wealth disclosure, did not wish to proceed with the divorce.
The wife outlined her requirements for maintaining their marriage, such as sharing childcare responsibilities, while the husband withdrew his excessive past demands, concluding the mediation.
