Song Seung-jun Joins New Reality Show Amid Perjury Conviction
Former professional baseball player Song Seung-jun, who was sentenced to a one-year suspended sentence for perjury, is set to appear on a new reality show.
According to a report by TenAsia on the 10th, Song Seung-jun will participate in ENA's upcoming reality show 'Hanttam House.' The show features celebrities building homes for the underprivileged in Cebu, Philippines.
Song Seung-jun has joined hands to improve the living conditions in the Philippines. While Song will be involved in the construction of homes on 'Hanttam House,' actor Kim Jae-won will manage the food service for the participating stars. Kim is responsible for providing meals to the volunteers.
The overseas filming dates have not yet been announced. 'Hanttam House,' featuring Song Seung-jun and Kim Jae-won, is scheduled to air in March. Meanwhile, Song Seung-jun was convicted in April last year for lying in court. He was accused of perjury during the trial of individuals A and B, who were charged with selling banned substances in July 2021. Song testified as a witness, claiming the substances purchased were stem cell supplements, not growth hormones. However, investigations revealed his testimony was false.
