Unexpected Crisis Unfolds for Kim Se-jeong and Lee Jong-won in 'Intoxicating Romance'

A new crisis has emerged for Kim Se-jeong and Lee Jong-won.

In the 10th episode of ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Intoxicating Romance,' aired on the 3rd, Yoon Min-joo (played by Lee Jong-won) participated in an international blind beer competition to launch the new product 'Together.' Despite winning the gold medal and securing the launch, the episode ended with Yoon Min-joo telling Chae Yong-joo (played by Kim Se-jeong) that all production quantities would be discarded, heightening the tension.

The internal tasting session of the TF team seemed successful, but the planning team's executive director, Yeom Jang-goon (played by Kim Joong-hee), attempted to sabotage the launch, leading to the worst internal evaluation results. Despite the despair, Chae Yong-joo showed strong belief in 'Together,' saying, "I trust the efforts of the TF team and the taste of our beer," even as she was upset by the situation. She confided her frustrations to Yoon Min-joo, who understood her feelings.

The final hurdle for the new product launch was the evaluation by the chairman of Jisang Brewery. Although 'Together' was a well-made beer, the internal evaluation results could not be ignored. Yoon Min-joo proposed, "You should also consider external test evaluations. I will submit it to the international blind beer competition," and the chairman accepted the proposal, putting 'Together' up for evaluation.

Amidst their busy lives, Chae Yong-joo and Yoon Min-joo enjoyed a sweet date. Chae Yong-joo led Yoon Min-joo to a village hall where his family was gathered. Yoon Chang-seok's heartfelt confession that he didn't know how to approach his sensitive son melted the icy atmosphere between them. Yoon Min-joo sincerely thanked Chae Yong-joo for reminding him of the warmth of family.

Chae Yong-joo faced an unexpected crisis. The TF team attended the international blind beer competition award ceremony. Despite attempts to swap the submitted beer, 'Together' won the gold medal. Holding the trophy, Yoon Min-joo warned Yeom Jang-goon, "You should stop now. If you continue, it will be you hitting rock bottom." Yoon Min-joo had discovered Yeom Jang-goon's plan and prevented the beer swap, securing the TF team's victory and confirming the launch of 'Together.'

An unforeseen variable arose. Chae Yong-joo received shocking news that 'Together' could not be shipped. As she rushed to the factory, she encountered Yoon Min-joo entering the office. It was Yoon Min-joo who stopped the first shipment. To a bewildered Chae Yong-joo, Yoon Min-joo firmly stated, "I will discard all the beer produced so far, Team Leader Chae," foreshadowing a new crisis and increasing the tension.

Oh Chan-hwi's (played by Baek Sung-chul) hidden secret was also revealed. The trauma from a mission during his special forces days continued to haunt him. Unable to breathe or eat properly, he ran away from home, unable to face his worried family. He told Bang Ah-reum (played by Shin Do-hyun), "Can you live with me like this, forever?" urging her to leave him. However, Bang Ah-reum embraced Oh Chan-hwi's pain, saying, "I'll try. I'll eat well and breathe well. So don't run away for that reason," deepening their romance and sparking curiosity about their future.
