Park So-hyun Opens Up About Marriage Dreams and Dating Experience
Park So-hyun shared her dreams about married life.
On the October 25th episode of tvN STORY's 'Can We Love Again?', Park So-hyun enjoyed a date with Kim Yoon-goo.
Park So-hyun revealed, "After my first blind date, people said I seemed frustrated. They often told me, 'You usually host well, so why were you so awkward?'" She expressed her preference for meeting someone around her age, saying, "Surprisingly, many people found it odd that I only opened up to a one or two-year age difference. I thought everyone wanted to meet someone their age. I realized for the first time that I'm quite strict about age." A video of Park So-hyun and Kim Yoon-goo's date was shown. Kim Yoon-goo made sure Park walked on the inside of the sidewalk. Park So-hyun commented, "He was very considerate. He switched places with me, and that was a thrilling moment."
On their way to a hot air balloon ride, Park couldn't take her eyes off children playing with their families in the park. She said, "That scene was my dream of married life. I've always dreamed of a couple with a child. I thought I'd naturally live that life by this age. Now, it's a path I can't take, so I felt envious and it looked nice."
Kim Yoon-goo asked, "What do you think when you see children?" Park So-hyun replied, "I can't have and raise a child at my age now, so my dream has faded," showing a sense of resignation.
Kim Yoon-goo comforted her, saying, "You can still enjoy small happiness like having a picnic with your husband. A friend of mine is happy without children with an older spouse. I hope you don't regret it." He added in an interview, "Seeing my friend happy without kids, I thought it would be nice for them to start and enjoy life together."
Kim Yoon-goo asked, "Do you prefer older or younger partners?" Park So-hyun answered, "Age doesn't matter much. I don't give extra points for being older or deduct for being younger. I just look at the person." Kim Yoon-goo said, "I'm not very picky." Park So-hyun added, "Meeting someone of a similar age is ideal. The person is more important than looks or age." Kim Yoon-goo asked, "How old do you think I am?" He then said, "I'm worried age might be a barrier. It's a secret for our next meeting."
Park So-hyun shared, "I can't have children now, so my will to marry has weakened. Men can still meet younger women and have children even if they're older." Kim Yoon-goo suggested, "Childbirth can also be an issue for men. You can be happy without children," encouraging a change in perspective.
When Kim Yoon-goo asked if she would meet him again if he contacted her, Park So-hyun nodded, and they exchanged contact information.
Park So-hyun confessed, "Kim Yoon-goo is quite capable. He has a charm that draws you in unknowingly. He's optimized for romance. I started wondering, 'What if it's with a man like this?'" She added, "I plan to meet him again. He was humorous and comfortable. He led well, so I lost," she laughed.
