Actor Lee Jong-won Opens Up About Past Relationships and Passion for Fashion
Actor Lee Jong-won, born in 1994, revealed that he was in a steady relationship until two years ago.
On the 4th, a video titled "EP. 66 Did You Two Kiss? I'll Remember That Night Filled with Kiss Talk~" was released on the web variety show 'Jjanhyung.' The episode featured actors Kim Se-jeong and Lee Jong-won, who co-starred in the ENA drama 'Intoxicated Romance.' Kim Se-jeong mentioned, "Tomorrow is the day we shoot an important scene," adding, "It's the day we film the kiss scene." She explained, "We were supposed to shoot it last week, but it got postponed due to a cold issue. So, we're filming it tomorrow. But we came out to enjoy 'Jjanhyung,' and coincidentally, tomorrow is the day for the kiss scene." Shin Dong-yup asked, "When acting with emotions in a drama, don't you sometimes develop feelings of love?" Lee Jong-won candidly replied, "When you look into each other's eyes and say sweet lines, those feelings might arise."
Later, Shin Dong-yup asked both actors, "Aren't you both quite honest? If you were dating, would you reveal it to your acquaintances?" Lee Jong-won answered, "If I have a girlfriend, I would reveal it," prompting Shin Dong-yup to ask, "What do you think about public relationships?"
Kim Se-jeong shook her head and said, "Even if you think it's the last love, sometimes it's not." Regarding his dating style, Lee Jong-won shared, "I'm not the type to passionately declare love or demand things." Lee Jong-won's last relationship was two years ago. He confessed, "I never thought I'd feel this way, but I don't know how to date anymore. Until two years ago, I never took a break from dating. Of course, I won't be fulfilled by what a lover gives, but being alone is surprisingly comfortable."
In contrast, Kim Se-jeong admitted, "I used to fall in love quickly," adding, "I was drawn to people without realizing it. I wanted to do everything for them, but as I got older, I realized that falling quickly doesn't mean I like the person. I like the version of myself that likes them." She continued, "When I thought about what I gained from liking someone, there was nothing. I'm trying to become wiser now." Lee Jong-won expressed his love for fashion as much as he loves alcohol. He mentioned being greatly influenced by his mother, saying, "I watched a lot of movies from the 1960s to the 1980s with my mother since I was young. The emotions from that era resonated with me. It seems those influences naturally became part of me."
Kim Se-jeong praised Lee Jong-won's fashion sense, noting, "He always dresses well," while Shin Dong-yup commented, "Your mother seems like a really cool person," listening intently to his words. Lee Jong-won shared, "I really like rock bands from the '60s and '70s. Mick Jagger from the Rolling Stones, excluding his personal life, is my role model." Shin Dong-yup humorously added, "The Rolling Stones' girlfriend is probably about forty years younger."
