Actress Ahn Ji-hye Joins Fantasy Action Blockbuster 'Twelve' as Lead Role
The series 'Twelve', inspired by the Eastern zodiac, tells the story of 12 angels living in the human world in human form to protect humanity from demons. It is a fantasy action blockbuster depicting a grand battle against evil forces attempting to unleash sealed powers.
Ahn Ji-hye will play the role of Mal-sook, the angel symbolizing the horse among the 12 angels.
Earlier this year, Ahn Ji-hye left a strong impression in the Netflix film 'Wilderness', where she played Sergeant Lee Eun-ho, a member of the Air Force Special Forces. To portray the swift and agile action of a special forces soldier, Ahn Ji-hye trained by running 5km daily to enhance her strength and speed. She drew attention by performing high-level acrobatic action scenes using guns, walls, and railings herself. 'Wilderness' is an action blockbuster depicting the ultimate struggle for survival in a lawless world ruled solely by power. The film starred Ma Dong-seok, Lee Hee-jun, Lee Jun-young, and Roh Jeong-eui.
'Twelve' is set to be released next year. The cast includes Ahn Ji-hye, Ma Dong-seok, Park Hyung-sik, Seo In-guk, Sung Dong-il, Lee Joo-bin, Go Kyu-pil, Kang Mi-na, Sung Yoo-bin, and Regina Ray.
