Chef Jeong Ji-seon candidly shared her efforts to balance work and family, and her plans for a second child, after meeting her life mentor, Sunwoo Yong-nyeo.

The KBS2 variety show 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears' (hereafter 'The Boss') aired its 279th episode on the 3rd, achieving a nationwide viewership rating of 4.9%, a metropolitan area rating of 4.5%, and a peak rating of 7.6%, maintaining its position as the number one show in its time slot across all channels for 128 consecutive weeks.

Boss Jeong Ho-young was invited to the Uiseong Super Food Garlic Festival. Notably, global Korean cuisine ambassador Chef Yoo Hyun-soo, who was the first to receive a Michelin 1-star for a Korean restaurant, joined him. Yoo candidly shared the challenges of the current economy, saying, "It's not like before. Sometimes, monthly sales don't even reach ten million won." The two chefs, with 25 years of experience each, aimed to sell out 200 servings of garlic dishes in a fiery culinary showdown. Yoo, expressing his culinary pride, stated, "I'm no ordinary cook," while Jeong declared he would showcase his spicy flavors.

The dishes prepared by the two chefs included garlic cabbage rolls and garlic noodles with aged garlic and pork belly. Jeon Hyun-moo remarked, "Just hearing the name garlic noodles makes my mouth water." Yoo, armed with just a knife, single-handedly managed everything from soaking noodles to grilling pork belly, demonstrating his efficiency and eloquence, which led to high repeat purchase rates.

In contrast, Jeong faced an emergency with a broken fryer and a shortage of burners for steaming. Ultimately, Jeong infiltrated Yoo's territory, humorously stealing Yoo's pork belly and engaging in customer-stealing tactics, which brought laughter. Jeong narrowly sold out 200 servings first, defeating Michelin 1-star Yoo. Jeong achieved a consecutive victory streak, following his rice dish competition with Jeong Ji-seon and now the garlic dish showdown with Yoo.

Designer Ji Chun-hee's boss, Miss Gee Collection's 2025 S/S collection final rehearsal was depicted. On the final check day for music, outfits, and styling, Ji meticulously inspected everything, saying, "The hairstyle is too weak," "The lips are too dry," and "Why is the petticoat beige?" Her keen eye ensured the outfits perfectly suited the models, prompting Jeon Hyun-moo to praise, "An excellent choice," to which Park Kyung-lim humorously asked, "Are you joining the Ji line?"

Ji Chun-hee also spoke about her close friend Ahn Hyun-mo, saying, "We naturally became close as very dear little friends." Ji, who has been sponsoring Ahn's broadcast outfits since their first meeting nine years ago, received a playful appeal from Jeon Hyun-moo, "I'll wear them everywhere, regardless of the broadcasting station." Ji advised Ahn, "It's great to live alone, but broaden your perspective globally and meet many good people," offering seasoned dating advice.

Most notably, Ji Chun-hee's secret 6th-floor storage was unveiled for the first time. It housed invaluable passion-driven results, such as videotapes, OHP films of past fashion show photos, and hand-dyed fabrics, preserving the history of Miss Gee Collection. Jeon Hyun-moo admired, "Precious materials," highlighting the moment when Ji Chun-hee, the pioneer of K-fashion and the legend behind the Cheongdam-dong myth since the 1989 Miss Gee Collection, shone the brightest.

Chef Jeong Ji-seon had a special meeting with her 'life mentors' Sunwoo Yong-nyeo and Kim Ji-seon. In her 11th year of marriage, Jeong surprised everyone with revelations like "I have different sleeping habits, so I've been sleeping in separate rooms from my husband for seven years," and "We often talk about work, but personal conversations happen only once or twice a week." Her husband's complaints about her frequent drinking gatherings drew attention, but Jeong turned the tables by saying, "It's not overspending, it's an investment. Instead, I've transferred all the titles of the car, house, and store to my husband," and "There are photos of my husband's ex-girlfriend at home."

Ultimately, Sunwoo Yong-nyeo advised Jeong and her husband, "You need to give and take," discussing the balance between work and family, and suggested planning for a second child, saying, "You should do it while you can." She also offered affectionate advice, "Life is only once, so pay attention to each other and live diligently."
