Anticipation Builds Over Two Romantic Endings in 'To My Harry'
Genie TV's original series 'To My Harry' is a heartwarming romance that heals the hidden wounds of announcer 'Eun-ho', who has developed a new personality, and her ex-boyfriend 'Hyun-oh'. Episode 10 achieved its highest nationwide viewership rating of 3.6%, with a 3.7% rating in the metropolitan area.
'To My Harry' presents two distinctly different romantic flavors: the love-hate relationship between Joo Eun-ho (played by Shin Hye-sun) and Jung Hyun-oh (played by Lee Jin-wook) after their breakup following an eight-year-long relationship, and the fresh first love romance between Eun-ho's second personality Joo Hye-ri (also played by Shin Hye-sun) and Kang Joo-yeon (played by Kang Hoon). As the finale approaches, viewers are more curious than ever about whom Eun-ho will choose.
Eun-ho and Hyun-oh had been maintaining a love-hate relationship for four years after ending their long-term romance. Despite their breakup, their eyes remained on each other, showcasing a bickering dynamic. One day, Eun-ho experienced a panic attack during a news broadcast due to past trauma from losing her sibling, and Hyun-oh calmed her with a passionate kiss, signaling a change in their relationship.
Hyun-oh's troubled childhood and the responsibility of supporting his five grandmothers were revealed, explaining his reluctance to marry. When Eun-ho heard news of Hyun-oh's impending marriage, she disappeared, heartbroken. Learning about Hye-ri through Joo-yeon, Hyun-oh regretted and blamed himself for hurting Eun-ho, shedding tears before setting out to find her. Eun-ho returned to Hyun-oh, though it was unclear whether she was Eun-ho or Hye-ri, and they confirmed their love with a reunion kiss on the stairs where they had parted.
Eun-ho's other personality, Hye-ri, and Joo-yeon's first encounter began with Hye-ri's bold kiss. Hye-ri saved Joo-yeon from danger, and, overwhelmed by Joo-yeon's warm concern, kissed him impulsively. Initially, Joo-yeon was upset by the inexplicable situation, but he soon fell for Hye-ri's candid charm, marking the start of his first love.
Joo-yeon showed trust towards Hye-ri but was confused by her occasional disappearances. He mistakenly thought Eun-ho was Hye-ri's sister and greeted her, but upon noticing similar scars on Eun-ho, he suspected Hye-ri of two-timing.
Eun-ho confessed her dissociative identity disorder to Joo-yeon before disappearing. Longing for the missing Eun-ho, Joo-yeon struggled daily until she returned. He confessed his deep love, saying, “I don't care. I just need Hye-ri to be there. Even if she's not by my side, as long as she's alive and healthy, that's enough for me. She doesn't have to love me, and even if she returns to the forest, I'm okay with it.” Eun-ho ran to Joo-yeon and embraced him, sparking excitement.
With Eun-ho having experienced a return romance with Hyun-oh and a first love romance with Joo-yeon, interest in her final choice is at an all-time high. Who will Eun-ho choose, and what will be the outcome of her two romances? Additionally, viewers are eager to see if the four characters, Eun-ho, Hyun-oh, Joo-yeon, and Hye-yeon (played by Jo Hye-joo), can find their own happiness in this healing romance.
