Kim Jong-min Opens Up About Communication Struggles with Younger Girlfriend

Kim Jong-min has revealed communication struggles with his girlfriend, who is 11 years younger.

On the Channel A show 'Men's Life These Days - Groom Class' aired on the 23rd, Kim Jong-min made an appearance.

During the show, Kim Jong-min introduced himself as "Kim Jong-min from Class 4-5" and expressed his desire to take lessons as someone who wants to get married. Moon Se-yoon mentioned his girlfriend, who is 11 years younger, prompting Kim Jong-min to laugh and say, "I don't usually open up about my relationships, but people around me do it for me."

Moon Se-yoon asked if his girlfriend fell for him at first sight, to which Kim Jong-min replied, "I'm not sure about that, but I felt it would work out," showing affection by saying it was "the first time in my life" he felt that way.

When asked if there was a specific groom class he wanted to take, Kim Jong-min admitted, "I think communication is a bit off. I wonder, 'Why is she taking it that way?' or 'Why am I getting scolded?' I say things for her benefit, but she suddenly gets upset. I wonder, 'Why do I have to keep saying I love her when I already do?'" He also shared that he expresses his affection more these days, saying, "I do it a lot now, anytime, unexpectedly."

Moon Se-yoon revealed, "There was a time on '1 Night 2 Days' when we had to sleep in a tent. It was so cold that the wind chill felt like minus 30 degrees, but he didn't come in. He quietly said, 'I'm going to sleep now.' When I opened the door, he was switching hands to talk on the phone in that cold. I thought, 'That's 100%,' and when I asked, he initially denied it but then admitted, 'Yes.' He's a romantic now."

Kim Jong-min previously had a public relationship with Hyun Young for two years until they broke up in 2009. He has since stated he would not engage in public relationships.
