Actor Byun Yo-han Engages with Online Community Reactions to 'Snow White'

Actor Byun Yo-han, born in 1986, has revealed that he monitors community reactions. On the 8th, Byun met with TenAsia for an interview at a cafe in Gangnam, Seoul, regarding the MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Snow White's Death - Black Out' (hereafter 'Snow White').

'Snow White' is a reverse-tracking crime thriller that follows the story of Go Jung-woo (played by Byun Yo-han), a young man who becomes a convicted murderer after being accused of a mysterious murder case with no discovered body. The drama unfolds as he seeks to uncover the truth of that day, ten years later. Byun Yo-han plays the role of Go Jung-woo, a model student who falls from grace overnight.

Byun Yo-han addressed the controversy surrounding his school uniform acting. When asked if he had ever searched for related reactions in online communities, he humorously replied, "I don't want to lie."

He stated, "I look at all the community reactions," and highlighted memorable comments such as "I hope Jung-woo finds happiness" and "All the bad people should be punished." He expressed gratitude, saying, "This was the core of our work, and I'm thankful for pointing that out."

Byun further shared that checking various reactions through communities is enjoyable. He said, "I learned about it recently, and it's so much fun. I think it's a great privilege as an actor that such discussions can arise from a heavy genre."

He especially appreciated that many people are enjoying 'Snow White' even after filming has concluded. Byun Yo-han smiled and said, "There are many people who enjoy watching it, so I want to communicate with them."

When asked how often he searches, he replied, "Not very often," adding, "I set a time for it. I also do a lot of other things for self-management and focus on exercise."
