Park Seo-joon recently revealed that he was a victim of bullying during his school days.

On the 7th, a video titled 'Sung Si-kyung's Meeting l I Fell for Park Seo-joon at First Sight' was posted on the YouTube channel of Sung Si-kyung. Actor Park Seo-joon appeared as a guest.

Park Seo-joon shared his journey to becoming an actor, stating, "I aimed to become an actor since my first year of high school, but my parents opposed it. My father was particularly against it, so my mother secretly sent me to an acting academy. After overcoming a 2400 to 1 competition ratio and entering Seoul Institute of the Arts, the opposition disappeared."

He also confessed, "I was bullied a bit when I was young," describing himself as shy and introverted. "I was bullied in elementary school and naturally became a very quiet student in middle school," he said. He added, "I had a triple I personality, unable to even order at a restaurant," and explained that expressing emotions through acting gave him a peculiar sense of liberation, which inspired him to pursue acting.

Regarding the moment he felt he became a top-tier actor, Park Seo-joon said, "What I'm proud of is that I started as an extra and minor role and steadily climbed the ranks. I'm not an overnight star."

Park Seo-joon, who landed his first leading role in the tvN drama 'Witch's Romance,' recalled, "At the time, popular actors didn't even consider tvN. Even newcomers were given lead roles. I chose tvN's lead role over a supporting role on a major network." He reminisced about the time, saying, "There was no 52-hour workweek back then, so I stayed up for 70 consecutive nights. I thought I might die." Reflecting on the improved production environment, Park Seo-joon noted, "Nowadays, there are weeks where I don't work 2-3 days, which makes me lose tension. Sometimes I wonder if I'm really filming." He added, "Once I start a project, I focus solely on it, not even looking at other scripts until it's over. But now, with a one-year gap, I feel like I should look at them in between."

Speaking about actress Han So-hee, with whom he worked on 'Gyeongseong Creature,' Park Seo-joon said, "She's MZMZ, fresh in a good way. I love her unrefined, raw vibe," expressing his anticipation and support for her future.

'Gyeongseong Creature' is set against the backdrop of Gyeongseong (Seoul) during the Japanese colonial period in 1945 and present-day Seoul in 2024. Park Seo-joon shared, "After deciding to appear, I thought I wouldn't be able to go to Japan anymore, but once it was released, I realized anti-Korean sentiment is truly a minority." He added, "I think I'll be filming in Japan at the end of the year."

Recently, Park Seo-joon enjoyed watching 'Black and White Chef,' expressing his love for cooking. "I found joy in cooking through 'Youn's Kitchen' and 'Jinny's Kitchen.' I love the happiness that comes when someone enjoys the food I made," he said, confidently naming seaweed soup as his specialty dish.
