Tensions Rise as Jung Dae-se and Myung Seo-hyun Reveal In-law Struggles

On the 6th episode of MBN's variety show 'Once Decided to Divorce' (hereafter referred to as 'Once Decided'), the 12th episode aired, featuring the couple Jung Dae-se and Myung Seo-hyun, who sat on the 'decision chair' once again after the pilot broadcast in January. Despite showing positive changes after the 'virtual divorce' solution, tensions flared when the topic of the in-laws was brought up.
Previously, the couple had received a solution through a 'virtual divorce,' and on this day, they surprised everyone with their positive changes. Jung Dae-se, who used to follow his 'exercise routine' every morning, now wakes up the children himself and even offers to make delicious rolled omelets, saying, "Dad will make you tasty rolled omelets." Despite his clumsy attempts, Myung Seo-hyun watches quietly without nagging, trying to engage in conversation with her husband in a gentle tone.
Jung Dae-se continues to warm hearts by taking the children to school. With some rare free time in the morning, Myung Seo-hyun takes a walk with her father. During the walk, she asks her father, "I wonder how you felt when I said I was going to marry Jung Dae-se." Her father hesitates before admitting, "Honestly, I didn't like him at first. His image wasn't great back then." As he recalls his first meeting with Jung Dae-se, the latter, hearing this candid story for the first time in the studio, is visibly shocked but quickly tries to explain, bringing a mix of humor and sympathy.

Myung Seo-hyun's expression suddenly hardens, and she bursts out, "I wish you wouldn't talk about your family. I even thought about dying because of your mother." She continues, "I've lived like a dead person throughout our marriage," with tears in her eyes. However, Jung Dae-se questions, "Did my mother do something that bad?" which triggers Myung Seo-hyun's second wave of anger.
