Comedians Lee Su-ji and Kwak Beom have received casting offers for the next project from Kang Yoon-sung, the director of the hit movie 'The Outlaws'.

The upcoming episode of KBS 2TV's mockumentary 'Method Club' (directed by Lee Myung-seop/written by Oh Ji-hye), airing on Monday, the 23rd at 10 PM, features a unique acting class where comedic actors and serious actors engage in a battle of pride. Comedians Lee Soo-geun, Lee Su-ji, and Kwak Beom take on serious actors as students in each episode, delivering provocative acting lessons. Regular crew members include Baekho, Hwang Jung-hye, Jeon Kyung-min, and Baek Ye-rim.

In the fourth episode of 'Method Club', director Kang Yoon-sung, known for the 'The Outlaws' and 'Casino' series, conducts auditions for his new project. The fierce competition among the top comedic actors in Korea, including Lee Su-ji and Kwak Beom, who reportedly received actual casting offers from Kang, has garnered significant attention.

Upon hearing the news of Kang Yoon-sung's visit to 'Method Club', the members commemorated the historic moment with a thorough cleaning and welcome banners. When Kang finally appeared, Lee Su-ji twisted her body in an effort to impress him, while Kwak Beom showcased a 'Love Actually' sketchbook proposal to flatter the director.

As the auditions began, Kwak Beom ambitiously declared, “I’m aiming for Son Seok-koo’s spot.” He reenacted lines from the movie 'Spring in Seoul' alongside Baekho, mimicking Hwang Jung-min and Ahn Nae-sang. Kang Yoon-sung surprised everyone by complimenting Kwak, saying, “You’re really good at acting.” Kwak then boldly stated, “I can appear for just one percent of Jung Woo-sung’s fee,” showcasing his burning ambition.

On the other hand, Lee Su-ji pointed out that Kang Yoon-sung’s works, including 'The Outlaws' and 'Casino', are all 'male-centric narratives'. She confidently stated, “In today’s era, male-centric narratives alone cannot capture the public’s interest,” drawing Kang’s attention.

Lee Su-ji promised to deliver gender-free acting and perfectly reenacted the spicy seafood scene of Jang Chen from 'The Outlaws'. She flawlessly captured the Yanbian dialect of Jang Chen, following her portrayal of Seo-rae from 'Decision to Leave', originally played by Tang Wei. Kang Yoon-sung, seemingly moved, gave her a thumbs up and reportedly offered her a role in his new project on the spot.

KBS 2TV's 'Method Club' will air on Monday, September 23rd at 10 PM.
