Jung Young-joo Has No Plans for Remarriage

Actress Jung Young-joo has revealed that she has no plans for remarriage.

On the SBS show 'My Ugly Duckling' aired on the 15th, Jung Young-joo made an appearance.

Jung Young-joo joined the show as the 'daughter of My Ugly Duckling.' When her mother appeared as a new member of the 'Movengers,' Seo Jang-hoon remarked, 'She looks more like a sister than a mother,' expressing his surprise. Jung's mother praised her daughter, saying, 'She is broad-minded and a problem solver. She is like a motherly daughter.'

Due to her glamorous attire, Jung Young-joo has earned the nickname 'Every day is an awards ceremony.' Choi Jin-hyuk, who has become close to her through their drama work, commented, 'No one would come to a Chinese restaurant dressed like this. It's a bit overwhelming.' It was also revealed that Jung had gifted Choi luxury underwear, as he had been wearing the same five pairs of underwear for five years.

Jung Young-joo shared, 'My father has undergone two major surgeries and is not the same as before. After 23 years, I have moved back in with my parents.' She expressed curiosity about Choi Jin-hyuk's life living with his mother. Choi responded, 'No matter what I say, it turns into nagging. I can really relate. I act at home even after acting at work,' drawing laughter.

Jung Young-joo, who has been divorced for 12 years, stated, 'My philosophy is to marry once and divorce once in my life.' She continued, 'I told my son that I have no intention of giving him two fathers. I told him not to worry because I have no plans to remarry. And I really don't.' Her mother, watching the video in the studio, added, 'I told her she can date but not remarry.'

Jung Young-joo revealed, 'Whether things end well or not, if the other person has no objections, I maintain a human relationship with them. I still keep in touch with my ex-mother-in-law. Sometimes, I talk to her more often than my own mother.' She added, 'When I received a musical award, I thanked my ex-mother-in-law for taking care of my child, even though I didn't mention my own mother. My mother doesn't mind. We even had meals together with my ex-mother-in-law.'

Jung Young-joo, who is open to dating, said, 'I would like to meet a good person. I want to read a book and discuss it over a meeting.' Choi Jin-hyuk humorously remarked, 'That's surprisingly wholesome.'

Jung Young-joo also mentioned, 'Younger men tend to like me more than older ones. My ex-husband was four years younger. I've dated younger men three or four times since then.' When Choi Jin-hyuk asked, 'What's the biggest age gap?' she replied, 'Ten years.' MC Seo Jang-hoon jokingly called her a 'younger man killer.' Her mother was surprised, saying, 'I didn't know that.'

On the third day of living together, Jung Young-joo and her mother had a heated argument while organizing their belongings. Meanwhile, her father, unfazed, happily ate a red bean bun, drawing laughter. Despite setting a rule of 'one red bean bun per day,' her father continued to eat them, saying the rule would apply from the next day.

Jung Young-joo and her mother then tackled organizing the dressing room. Seeing Jung struggle to part with her old but glamorous clothes, Kim Jong-kook's mother empathized, saying, 'Jong-kook still has his Turbo-era clothes.'
