Veteran actor Lee Soon-jae reminisced about the outbreak of the Korean War.

The upcoming episode 672 of KBS2's 'Immortal Songs,' airing on the 14th, will feature the second part of the Chuseok special 'Lee Soon-jae Edition.'

Lee Soon-jae, who is celebrating his 90th birthday, recalls the Korean War. He shared, 'On June 25, I went to buy a swimsuit with my younger brother at a department store, and soon after, I saw military jeeps patrolling around.' He continued, 'Then the surprise invasion happened, and the war broke out,' providing a vivid testimony as a 'living history.'

Lee Soon-jae was deeply moved by the performances dedicated to him by the cast, praising them as 'not just immortal songs but immortal singers.' In the first part, he was even brought to tears by the performance of singers Son Tae-jin and Danny Koo.

In the second part, a surprise video message from a guest who considers Lee Soon-jae a mentor will be revealed, bringing smiles to both Lee and the judging panel. Lee Soon-jae reportedly smiled brightly and raised his fist in joy as soon as the guest appeared on screen, sparking curiosity about the identity of the guest.

The Chuseok special 'Lee Soon-jae Edition' of 'Immortal Songs' promises a lineup of talented artists from various age groups with strong vocal abilities. In this second part, artists such as Monni, Ben, Im Dami, Kai, and Son Seung-yeon will reinterpret classic songs that hold special meaning for Lee Soon-jae, including Jo Sumi's 'Bul In Byeol Gok,' Lee Mi-ja's 'Goodbye Seoul,' Lee Sun-hee's 'Beautiful Rivers and Mountains,' Park In-soo and Lee Dong-won's 'Nostalgia,' and Edith Piaf's 'Hymn to Love.'

This second part will feature a notable competition among female vocalists, with three out of the five teams being female singers like Ben, Im Dami, and Son Seung-yeon. Additionally, the performances by the ambitious band Monni and musical actor Kai, returning to 'Immortal Songs' after eight years, are highly anticipated.

The Chuseok special 'Lee Soon-jae Edition' part two will air on KBS 2TV at 6:05 PM on the 14th.
