Kim Yoon-ah brags about her 183cm handsome son

Kim Yoon-ah and Kim Hyung-kyu, a celebrity couple, have revealed that they live in separate bedrooms in their 140-pyeong home.

On the September 9th episode of SBS's variety show 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' (hereafter 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2'), the couple, who have been married for 19 years, made an appearance.

During the show, Kim Yoon-ah said, "How can a person have only one side? There are still things I don't know about my husband." Kim Hyung-kyu recently made headlines with rumors of winning a 1.1 billion won bid for a property near Gangnam Station. Kim Yoon-ah clarified, "I wish he had 1.1 billion won. My husband is just a paid doctor at that dental clinic."

The couple first met at a fashion show. Kim Hyung-kyu, who fell in love with 22-year-old Kim Yoon-ah at first sight, recalled, "I thought we might get married, so I asked her which Kim clan she belonged to." Kim Hyung-kyu, who is two years younger, said, "I spoke informally to her from the beginning. I didn't call her 'noona' (older sister); I said I would call her 'unni' (older sister)."

Kim Yoon-ah revealed that she has a congenital immune deficiency. She said, "My immune levels are so low that they are at the level of a newborn. I receive intravenous immunoglobulin therapy every month." Thirteen years ago, due to a busy schedule, she developed facial nerve paralysis. Kim Yoon-ah explained, "Besides facial motor nerves, my taste, smell, hearing, and vagus nerves were affected. Vocal cord issues can impact my singing, so I need to build muscle through exercise."

The couple, who used to sleep in the same bed with their son until he was in the sixth grade, now sleep in separate rooms due to Kim Hyung-kyu's sleep apnea. The noise from his CPAP machine led to their separate sleeping arrangements. The distance from Kim Hyung-kyu's room to Kim Yoon-ah's room is about 20 meters.

Their son Min-jae, who is 183 cm tall and resembles his father, has a keen interest in aerospace and dreams of becoming a pilot. The couple has set up a dedicated lab in their 140-pyeong Bundang home for their son, equipped with a 3D printer and virtual flight simulators.

Kim Yoon-ah described her husband as a second son, younger than their 17-year-old son, saying, "He doesn't keep promises, lacks responsibility, and can't communicate maturely." Unlike Kim Yoon-ah, who maintains a disciplined lifestyle, Kim Hyung-kyu was seen consuming corn snacks, ice cream, jelly, ramen, and soda until 3 a.m. Kim Yoon-ah told her son, "Your dad hid his true nature and pretended to be diligent, so I was tricked into marrying him." Her son humorously agreed, saying, "Mom got deceived."
