Kim Yoon-ah, I got married with fraud

SBS 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' (hereafter 'Same Bed 2') has reclaimed its position as the top Monday variety show.

The episode aired on the 9th saw a significant increase in viewership, achieving a peak rating of 6.1%, an average rating of 4.8%, and a 2049 demographic rating of 1.6% (Nielsen Korea, metropolitan area, household standard), making it the highest-rated program in its time slot.

The episode featured the 'NEW Fate Couple' Kim Yoon-ah and Kim Hyung-kyu, who showcased a previously unseen aspect of their daily lives, sparking interest. Kim Yoon-ah, appearing in the studio, said, "We've been married for 19 years, but there are still things I don't know about Kim Hyung-kyu. It's mysterious," piquing curiosity. She also addressed the rumor about 'Kim Hyung-kyu's 1.1 billion won Gangnam dental clinic bid,' humorously clarifying, "Kim Hyung-kyu is just a salaried doctor at that clinic. I wish he had 1.1 billion won."

Their first meeting was anything but ordinary. Kim Hyung-kyu recalled, "I was invited to a fashion show by an acquaintance and was 'smitten' when I saw Kim Yoon-ah. I asked her which Kim family she belonged to, worried we might be from the same clan and unable to marry," showcasing his unique personality.

On the other hand, Kim Yoon-ah revealed, "Kim Hyung-kyu, who is two years younger, spoke informally to me from the start. He knew my age but never called me 'noona' (older sister)," to which Kim Hyung-kyu responded, "I didn't want to be perceived as the younger one, so I avoided calling her 'noona' and opted for 'unnie' (older sister) instead," eliciting laughter. Kim Yoon-ah also described her husband as her 'second son,' criticizing his lack of responsibility and mature communication.

In their daily life, Kim Hyung-kyu was shown snacking until 3 AM and leaving the house messy, while Kim Yoon-ah displayed her 'management queen' persona, diligently maintaining order. Their son, Min-jae, who stands at 183 cm and resembles his father, was also introduced, bringing smiles to everyone. The couple demonstrated their love for their son by setting up a dedicated lab at home for his interest in aerospace. Kim Yoon-ah humorously told her son, "I was deceived into marrying your father because he pretended to be diligent," to which Min-jae agreed, saying, "Mom was deceived," causing laughter.

The couple also drew attention for sleeping in separate rooms. Kim Yoon-ah explained, "We all slept in the same room until our son was in the 6th grade, but Kim Hyung-kyu had sleep apnea. He started using a CPAP machine, but the noise was too loud, so we began sleeping in separate rooms." The distance from Kim Hyung-kyu's room to Kim Yoon-ah's room was approximately 20 meters.

Kim Yoon-ah also revealed that she needs to be hospitalized monthly. "I have a congenital immune deficiency. My immune levels are as low as a newborn's, so I borrow others' immunity to bring mine to normal levels," she said. "My doctor advised me to get enough sleep, but I once suffered from nerve paralysis due to lack of sleep," shocking everyone.

Kim Yoon-ah expressed her unique affection for Kim Hyung-kyu, saying, "If I thought of him as a person, I would have run away. He has a concept of not being a typical person. He is untainted by the world, and his eyes shake when he lies. He can't look people in the eye and lacks a patriarchal mindset, which is commendable."

The upcoming episode of 'Same Bed 2,' airing on the 23rd, will feature Jang Su-won and his wife as the new fate couple, revealing their childbirth and parenting journey.
