Chae Yeon was the owner of 2 billion buildings

Singer Chae Yeon proudly revealed that she owns a building.

On the 8th episode of KBS2's variety show 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears' (hereafter referred to as 'Donkey Ears'), aired on the 272nd episode, Park Ki-ryang was seen seeking advice from the original 'military president' Chae Yeon ahead of a military event.

On this day, Chae Yeon reminisced, "The reason I liked the military bases back then was because I didn't have many people cheering for me when I was on stage, so I felt lonely. But when I went to the military bases, I felt like a god there. They cheered for every step and gesture I made, which made me feel good."

Chae Yeon, who had more military performances than music broadcasts, owns a six-story building including a basement. The first floor is a cafe, and the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors are rented out. Upon seeing this, Park Myung-soo exclaimed, "That place is the next Seongsu-dong."

When asked about the building's price, Chae Yeon said, "I earned a little more than double compared to back then," and mentioned that she initially paid "about 2 sheets." When Park Ki-ryang guessed the amount in billions, Chae Yeon clarified, "Add a zero to that, it was two big sheets," revealing that she bought the building in Jayang-dong for 2 billion won 10 years ago, and its value has since doubled.
