Park Seojin found out about the secret of his biological father after 30 years
On the upcoming episode of KBS2's variety show 'Mr. House Husband Season 2' (hereafter referred to as 'Mr. House Husband'), airing on the 7th, the special summer vacation of Park Seo-jin's family continues.
Following last week's episode, the story of Park Seo-jin's family on their summer vacation to Mungyeong unfolds, with the 'tourist' Park Seo-jin and his 'mukbang' sister Hyo-jung engaging in an unyielding 'battle trip.'
For the final course of the family trip, Park Seo-jin takes them to a hot spring. He reveals, "Mungyeong is famous for its hot springs. One of my long-time bucket list items has been to scrub my dad's back," drawing attention.
However, the warm atmosphere is short-lived as Park Seo-jin's father hesitates in the changing room and eventually says he cannot enter the hot spring, leaving Park Seo-jin bewildered. Park Seo-jin then learns of his father's painful secret for the first time in 30 years, which shocks him. Park Seo-jin shares, "At thirty, I finally took on the modest bucket list challenge, but I felt both upset and sad, and even ashamed of myself," highlighting the poignant story his father had kept from his children.
Meanwhile, Park Seo-jin's mother and sister Hyo-jung sneak out of the hot spring to prepare a surprise birthday party for him. The two not only scouted the location but also meticulously prepared the party by blowing up balloons themselves.
Experiencing a birthday party from his family for the first time in his life, Park Seo-jin is taken aback and sheds tears upon receiving an unexpected gift. He confesses, "I felt guilty receiving it. Maybe because I'm always the one giving, it felt so awkward to receive," raising curiosity about what transpired.
