Kangnam Confirms Marriage Decision After Seeing Lee Sang-hwa's Back Muscles
On the 3rd, MBC's 'Clean Freak Brian' (hereafter 'Clean Freak') aired a special episode titled 'House of Compliments,' where they visited the home of the Lee Sang-hwa and Kangnam couple.
Kangnam confessed, "If I lived alone, I would have matched well with this program. I am messy. I feel at ease when things are like trash." He admitted that he originally wasn't good at organizing. However, after marrying Lee Sang-hwa, he became much tidier thanks to her. Gangnam said, "She tells me where to vacuum, and then I do it. When I see Brian, I think of my wife."
Brian, who was excited about visiting a clean house, questioned Kangnam's appearance, saying, "You're not famous for being clean." Fortunately, their home was spotless. Kangnam humorously admitted, "It should have been my wife on the show, not me."
Brian and BamBam noted that Lee Sang-hwa is also a clean freak. Kangnam explained her routine, saying, "She goes to bed at 10 PM and wakes up at 4 AM to clean. She has to exercise. As a former athlete, she still has that mindset. She doesn't sleep much." He added, "She cleans and walks our poodles for two hours every morning, making their muscles look like bulldogs."
Unlike the early-rising Lee Sang-hwa, Kangnam said, "If she doesn't wake me up, I get up around 2 PM. I might see her cleaning in the morning once a year." When BamBam asked if he ever sees his wife, Kangnam humorously replied, "Of course."
Kangnam shared that his wife, due to her athletic career, often stayed in hotels abroad and would clean the dust to avoid getting sick. He added, "We have a lot of disinfectant wipes at home. Even though hotels offer cleaning services, she does it herself."
Despite their different habits, the couple met on the variety show 'Law of the Jungle.'
Kangnam recalled, "We went to the jungle for filming, and I didn't want to be there for two weeks. Then I saw Sang-hwa in a sleeveless shirt, and her back muscles were impressive. I felt like I saw a goblin and decided I would marry her." He continued, "At the airport, Moon Ga-bi asked Sang-hwa to have coffee, but she said she couldn't drink it. That stuck in my mind. After filming, when the camera crew offered her coffee, I said, 'She can't drink coffee.' Sang-hwa later told me she decided to marry me then."
