Um Tae-goo's First Fan Meeting Sells Out in Record Time

The highly introverted actor Um Tae-goo's fan meeting has sold out all seats.

On the evening of the 2nd, ticket reservations for the '1st Um Tae-goo Fan Meeting' were made available through Interpark Ticket, and all approximately 1,000 seats were sold out immediately upon opening. The '1st Um Tae-goo Fan Meeting' is the first fan meeting Um Tae-goo has held in his 17-year career, as a way to give back to his fans.

Um Tae-goo's fan meeting not only trended in real-time on X but also saw tens of thousands of concurrent users trying to book tickets, indicating high global interest.

Um Tae-goo has won the hearts of global fans by transforming into a lovable character in 'The Woman Who Plays', a stark contrast to the tough roles he has portrayed in numerous works.

According to the FUNdex survey results released by Good Data Corporation, a K-content competitiveness analysis agency, Um Tae-goo ranked first in the drama/non-drama overall cast popularity category for five consecutive weeks. He also topped the actor brand reputation rankings announced by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute in July and maintained a top-three position even after the drama ended in August.

The '1st Um Tae-goo Fan Meeting' will be held on the 28th at the COEX Shinhan Card Artium in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
