SNL Korea Season 6 Premieres with Host Jeon Jong-seo Amidst Controversy
Coupang Play's comedy show 'SNL Korea' Season 6 has made a grand return with its first episode hosted by Jeon Jong-seo.

Previously, Jeon Jong-seo faced allegations of school violence. She has repeatedly denied these claims. At the press conference for the TVING original series 'Queen Woo' held on the 27th of last month, Jeon addressed the rumors, stating, "As I have previously clarified through my agency, the allegations are completely false. If they were true, I wouldn't be able to present my work to the public and stand here today."

Jeon added, "I deeply regret being involved in such matters, and I am committed to helping those who may have been hurt by these rumors recover through my work. My agency and I are working hard to resolve this issue."

Even before her appearance, Jeon Jong-seo was considered the perfect host for 'SNL Korea.' She lived up to expectations by showcasing her impeccable comedic instincts. Transforming into a quirky Japanese-obsessed girlfriend, she captivated the audience with her charm, making her younger boyfriend, Yuto-chan Kim Won-hoon, completely helpless. She also dominated the stage as a hip MZ shaman, performing a mesmerizing trance dance.

Her realistic acting also shone through. Playing a diligent commuter on the subway, she resonated with the audience, drawing 200% empathy. Additionally, she nailed the role of a mysterious and eerie design team member in 'MZ Office in a Large Corporation,' delivering a spine-chilling performance.

Pouring everything into her performance, Jeon Jong-seo remarked, "I was thrilled to be able to 'go crazy' with the crew."

'SNL Korea' Season 6 airs every Saturday at 8 PM on Coupang Play.
