Kim Gura has revealed the conflicts he faced due to his wife's postpartum depression.

On the 29th, Channel A's variety show 'Dad is a Flower Middle-aged Man' featured Lee Ji-hoon and his 14-year-younger Japanese wife Ayane, who brought their daughter Ruhee home from the postpartum care center.

During the episode, Lee Ji-hoon took care of both Ruhee and Ayane's hormonal changes. He shared, "Yesterday, I was lying on the sofa eating snacks. I fed her as usual, but it seems some spilled." He continued, "My wife said, 'If you're going to do it like that, don't feed me.' She looked me in the eyes and told me not to feed her if I was going to do it that way."

In response, Kim Gura said, "My wife also attacked me over unreasonable things. I suggested she see a doctor because of hormonal changes." He added, "It turned out I was right. It was an early symptom of postpartum depression. She got better after receiving counseling at the hospital."

Kim Gura married in 1997 and had a son, Kim Dong-hyun (also known as Gree), but divorced by mutual agreement in August 2015. He remarried in 2020 to a woman 12 years his junior and welcomed a daughter in 2021.
