Seo Jun-young Reveals His Maximalist Tendencies on 'Clean Freak Brian'
Seo Jun-young has revealed his maximalist tendencies.
On the 27th, MBC's variety show 'Clean Freak Brian' (hereafter referred to as 'Clean Freak') featured actor Seo Jun-young as a client.
Seo Jun-young, known for his inability to throw things away, has earned the nickname 'Seo Pocket'. His friend of 10 years, actor Baek Sung-hyun, commented, "The house is so full of stuff that he should live outside."
The living room was filled with boxes of scripts from past dramas and variety shows. Brian suggested, "Can't you just keep one script per project?" Seo Jun-young replied, "My scripts are limited editions. I have all the emails, but this is the only physical copy I have," and added, "It's like my baby." Brian pointed out, "That's a problem."
The house was cluttered with various knick-knacks, including dolls and figurines. Seo Jun-young explained that he couldn't throw away the figurines because "it feels like abandoning a pet. I believe they have some kind of soul." Brian and BamBam shook their heads in disbelief. There were even instant rice containers. Seo Jun-young clarified, "I didn't leave them there after using them. I plan to use them as side dishes." Brian retorted, "If you were on a date and everything was perfect but you brought out this as a side dish, the relationship would end immediately."
The sheer amount of stuff made moving a nightmare for the movers. Seo Jun-young recalled, "When I was doing public service, I lived in a 19-pyeong villa. On moving day, four movers came initially. By 11 AM to 12 PM, they hadn't even cleared the living room. By 1 PM, three more movers were added, making it seven in total. About four 2.5-ton trucks were needed."
The cleaning of Seo Jun-young's house was completed after 9 PM. Seeing his clean house, Seo Jun-young said, "I feel a bit dazed. I think I'll realize it when I wake up and walk around the house in the morning. I'll try to adapt to this order. Thank you for not getting angry despite the amount of stuff."
