Lee Hye-jung mentioned Go Min-hwan's past affair in front of acquaintances, causing conflict between the couple. Her husband, with a hardened expression, said, "I'm sick of it. I understand, but I can't forgive and it's unpleasant." However, Lee Hye-jung opened up about her painful feelings, saying, "Time passes, but the anger remains."

Go Min-hwan helped Lee Hye-jung make kimchi. He said, "It's time to stop talking nonsense soaked in the past," and added, "Get a grip." Lee Hye-jung responded, "In the past, I was so choked up that I couldn't even speak. Now that it's a story from the past, I can at least talk about it. How could I live feeling wronged and frustrated if I didn't even talk about it?" She then recalled a past conversation. When she asked, "How is it now?" her husband replied, "I love you now." When Go Min-hwan said, "What are you talking about? I don't remember that at all," Lee Hye-jung retorted, "Are you getting dementia?"

Lee Hye-jung reminisced, "At that time, I couldn't even breathe. Didn't I see it? Standing next to that woman by the apartment." She continued, "Was there another one? That woman wasn't even pretty. She wasn't better looking than me. She was so skinny. I wonder how she's doing now," referring to her husband's affair. When Go Min-hwan said, "How can I talk about that? I have to badmouth you," Lee Hye-jung snapped back, "Does that come back to me as badmouthing? Is it always the wife's fault when a man cheats?"

Lee Hye-jung said, "It's already been about 25 years. That day, when I was coming back from the market, you suddenly made a U-turn and ran away." Go Min-hwan avoided the topic, saying, "Stop it. You're talking too much." Lee Hye-jung muttered, "Thinking about it now, I'm grateful that time has passed. I wonder what that woman is doing now. She hurt my feelings, but what about her life? It makes me furious."

The couple sat facing each other, but the conflict remained unresolved. Go Min-hwan said, "If a husband asks for something, you should do it even if it's emotionally difficult. You said you would, but then you repeat the same behavior, and I get angry every time." He added, "You're like the fickle weather of Jeju Island." Lee Hye-jung retorted, "If you're going to talk like this, we're back to square one. Why did you come if you're going to say the same things?" The two didn't listen to each other and only spoke their minds. Lee Hye-jung fumed, "You can't live with any woman. You're the type to get kicked out."
