Yoon Kye-sang Praises Go Min-si's Performance in 'In the Woods with No One'

Actor Yoon Kye-sang has showered co-star Go Min-si with praise for her performance in 'In the Woods with No One'.

On the 26th, Yoon Kye-sang sat down for an interview at a café in Sogyeok-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, to discuss his role in the Netflix series 'In the Woods with No One'.

'In the Woods with No One' is a suspense thriller that tells the story of people whose peaceful lives are disrupted by a mysterious guest during the height of summer, leading to uncontrollable events. In the series, Yoon Kye-sang plays Sang-jun, the owner of Lakeview Motel, who has a striking yet unfamiliar presence.

Yoon Kye-sang gave a thumbs-up when speaking about Go Min-si, saying, "Playing a psychopath is not easy. Is there a motive for a bad person to become bad? I don't think so. It's just because they are a psychopath that they commit such heinous acts. Go Min-si portrayed such a character exceptionally well. I never felt anything was off while watching the series. The immersion was perfect."

He continued, "I was really creeped out wondering what Go Min-si's character would do next. At the same time, I thought she was doing an excellent job. From the first reading, I asked (Park) Ji-hwan, 'Who is that actress? She's so good.'" When asked if he knew Go Min-si before, Yoon Kye-sang humorously replied, "No, I knew her."

When questioned if he had ever complimented her directly, Yoon Kye-sang said, "I'm a very shy person. I'm not in contact with Go Min-si. I've never told her directly because I'm too shy. Maybe I'll leave a comment on Instagram," he joked.
