Actor Kang Hoon Transforms into a Lovelorn Announcer in 'To My Harry'

Born in 1991, actor Kang Hoon transforms into a lovelorn announcer suffering from his first love due to Shin Hye-sun in 'To My Harry'.

Genie TV's original series 'To My Harry' is a heartwarming romance that heals the hidden wounds of announcer Eun-ho, who develops a new personality, and her ex-boyfriend Hyun-oh. Directed by Jung Ji-hyun, known for his sensuous direction in 'House with a Yard', 'Twenty-Five Twenty-One', 'You Are My Spring', and 'Search: WWW', and written by Han Ga-ram, who penned 'I'll Visit You When the Weather Is Nice', the series promises to deliver the essence of a detailed and exciting romance.

On the 26th (Monday), 'To My Harry' released the first character cut of Kang Hoon (playing Kang Joo-yeon), capturing the audience's attention. In the series, Kang Joo-yeon is an FM announcer at MediaN Seoul. Notably, he is a pure-hearted man who attended an all-boys middle school, high school, and the Korea Military Academy, with no dating experience.

In the stills, Kang Hoon perfectly embodies the character of Kang Joo-yeon, showcasing a captivating uniform fit that adds visual appeal to the series. First, Kang Joo-yeon during his military academy days captures attention with his fresh and youthful appearance. Participating in the graduation ceremony, he holds a bouquet and receives congratulations from his family, melting hearts with his bright and sunny smile.

In contrast, the current announcer Kang Joo-yeon, boasting a sharp suit fit, exudes a somewhat cynical atmosphere with an impeccable image. His flawless black suit and neat hair reveal the persona of an FM announcer, emanating a cold and unapproachable aura, sparking curiosity about his backstory. Particularly, the reason why Kang Joo-yeon, who graduated from the military academy and lived as an officer, chose the path of an announcer, draws attention to his veiled story.

Despite being Kang Joo-yeon, he unexpectedly shows a warm side to Joo Hye-ri (played by Shin Hye-sun), who suddenly appears before him one day. Joo Hye-ri's presence disrupts Kang Joo-yeon's ordinary life, giving the lovelorn Kang Joo-yeon a late first love, raising expectations for their clear and fresh romance.
