Actress Ye Ji-won Reveals Weight Loss During Reality Dating Show Filming
Actress Ye Ji-won has revealed that she lost weight while filming a reality dating show.
On the afternoon of the 20th, TV Chosun's new variety show 'Public Dating - The Private Lives of Actresses' held an online production presentation. The event was attended by Ye Ji-won, Oh Yoon-ah, Lee Soo-kyung, CP Lee Seung-hoon, and PD Kim Joon.
'The Private Lives of Actresses' follows the journey of 20-year-old 'real friends' Ye Ji-won, Oh Yoon-ah, and Lee Soo-kyung as they search for their destined love. The show captures their quest for true love as women, not actresses, through dates with ideal men in a natural setting away from the city.
CP Lee Seung-hoon said, "Think of it as a romance drama with three different colors. Each has a different vibe, but it all fits together."
PD Kim Joon revealed that he had meetings for six months to cast the male participants, saying, "I tried to reflect the actresses' ideal types."
The male participants came to the show knowing only that they would be dating actresses, without knowing their identities. Ye Ji-won said, "My heart sank," while Oh Yoon-ah added, "I was worried they might leave or run away when they saw us. They probably imagined young actresses, but we are well-matured."
Oh Yoon-ah continued, "They didn't know our ages or names. I also have a son, so I was concerned about their preferences."
Ye Ji-won confessed, "I lost my appetite because of the men. I lost weight during the 5-night, 6-day filming. I couldn't eat much." Lee Soo-kyung added, "Ye Ji-won unnie also talked less."
'Public Dating - The Private Lives of Actresses' will premiere on the 20th at 10 PM.
