Taeyeon Celebrates 17th Anniversary, Emphasizes Importance of Staff Opinions

Taeyeon, celebrating her 17th debut anniversary, emphasized the importance of staff opinions.

On the 18th, the YouTube channel 'MMTG Civilization Express' uploaded a video titled "Taeyeon: The Lead Vocalist I Chose... | The Great Jaezzbi (Feat. Taeyeon)." On this day, JaeJae, Gabi, and Seunghun met with Girls' Generation's Taeyeon.

The trio asked Taeyeon, "We don't have a song. We don't know where to start. How do we prepare to release music?" Taeyeon humorously replied, "First, you need to prepare a lot of songs. Songs that suit me perfectly." She added, "I collect and choose songs that match my concept."

When asked how she collects songs, Taeyeon said, "I trust my instincts." She continued, "I listen to recommendations and opinions from our staff. People might think that with my experience, I would assert my opinions strongly, but I am very cooperative."

Taeyeon mentioned, "I rely heavily on my staff." Seunghun commented, "That's wise. It's the secret to longevity," causing laughter.

Gabi asked, "It's really tough just to dance. How do you manage to sing live while dancing?" Taeyeon shared a tip, "It's hard to perfect every dance move. Sometimes, I replace certain dance moves with hand gestures."

The trio sought advice from Taeyeon on what kind of training they might need. Taeyeon said, "JaeJae surprisingly needs vocal training. You seem capable of using your voice well, but there's a lot to work on."

Regarding Gabi, Taeyeon mentioned "confidence," surprising her. Taeyeon explained, "It seems like you think this isn't your area." Gabi admitted, "I feel like I shouldn't be here because I'm a dancer," covering her mouth in surprise.

Taeyeon advised, "I believe there's no right answer in being a singer. Everyone perceives things differently. As long as you're sincere, it will be seen positively. No matter what, some people will view things negatively. If you do it with sincerity, people will see it positively."
