Jung Jae-yong reunites with his ex-wife

DJ DOC's Jung Jae-yong expressed his bitter feelings after reuniting with his ex-wife after two years.

On the Channel A entertainment show 'My Dad is a Flower Middle-aged Man' aired on the 15th, Jung Jae-yong was shown meeting his ex-wife for the first time since his divorce.

On this day, Jung Jae-yong said, "I haven't been in contact with Yeon-ji's mother for two years, and today is the day we decided to meet," and "I think I still have feelings (for my ex-wife). I also have a lot of regrets, longing, and regrets toward Yeon-ji's mother."

He continued, “Around the end of April the year before last, I hosted a friend’s younger sibling’s wedding. I received 1 million won as hosting fees,” and recalled, “I wanted to see my family because I had some income. I wanted to buy a lot for my daughter while I was here. So I called her, but the number didn’t show up.”

After much thought, Jeong Jae-yong's ex-wife agreed to the meeting, and before going to the secret location, she bought clothes for her daughter Yeon-ji and flowers for her ex-wife.

The meeting between the two was not made public. After meeting his ex-wife, Jung Jae-yong explained, “I was happy to see her. I waved without realizing it. I took out a gift and gave it to her. The flowers were the most burdensome. But when she saw the flowers, she smiled. It seemed like she didn’t mind meeting her.”

When asked if he had heard the answer he had expected, Jung Jae-yong said, “I had thought about it and was worried about it, but there were moments when I got excited and got upset. But that doesn’t mean Yeon-ji’s mother said anything wrong. She didn’t say anything wrong. All I could say was, ‘I’m sorry,’ and ‘I was wrong.’”

He continued, “Yeonji’s mother said that it was uncomfortable for me to contact her or even try to see her. I told her that it would be better if I didn’t see her until Yeonji found her. After talking to her honestly, my head became very complicated.”

When asked if there was anything he couldn't tell his ex-wife, Jung Jae-yong said, "I couldn't tell Yeon-ji's mom that I don't want to make the same mistake again if she thought it was the last time and trusted me just once. But now and in the future, as Yeon-ji's father, I hope Yeon-ji's mom trusts me a little more."
