Shin Yoon-seung confesses to living in two houses
Shin Yoon-seung appeared on 'High-end Salt Merchant' and showed off his warm human charm as well as his comedic skills.

On the KBS2 show 'High-End Salt Merchant' that aired on the 13th, the ace comedian of 'Gag Concert', Shin Yoon-seung, appeared. When Shin Yoon-seung appeared, senior comedian Yang Se-hyung praised him as the 'hero of comedians' and said, "Because Shin Yoon-seung is doing well, all comedians got another chance to work," drawing attention.

Shin Yoon-seung said that he has become very busy these days. He said that he has appeared on all the major KBS programs such as 'Immortal Songs', 'Gayo Stage', 'Morning Yard', and 'Real Masterpiece', and boasted of his extraordinary popularity. However, he expressed his concern saying, "My expenses are greater than my income" and "I can't save money."

Shin Yoon-seung explained, “I actually live in two houses,” and “I pay for the house I live in, as well as the house my mom and older brother live in.” Shin Yoon-seung’s house is a 24-pyeong villa, and he revealed that he borrowed 350 million won out of the 450 million won jeonse deposit. Shin Yoon-seung also said that he is paying his mother’s living expenses, and said, “It’s been about 5 years. We lived together, but when I moved out, I paid the living expenses as I had been paying them and sent her. I sent her 1.5 million won.” On top of that, the interest on both jeonse loans is 1.4 million won. Shin Yoon-seung said, “I borrowed 300 million won out of the 330 million won jeonse deposit for the house my mom lives in. The interest was bearable, but it kept going up. I thought it would be better to pay the early repayment penalty, so I paid off 100 million won, but 200 million won is still left,” revealing that his fixed costs alone are 4.5 million won.

Soon after, a consumption log was released to confirm his spending habits. On the day of the 'Gag Concert' recording, KBS was filled with fans from all over the country who had gathered to see Shin Yoon-seung. The MCs said, "This is Shin Yoon-seung's world right now," and talked about his extraordinary popularity. After the recording, Shin Yoon-seung signed autographs for each and every fan waiting for him in front of KBS, and took commemorative 'selfies', showing his sincerity in fan service.

His love for his fans continued at the Yoon Hyung-bin Small Theater, where he has been for 9 years. Shin Yoon-seung held fan meetings at the small theater every Saturday, and did not neglect communicating with his fans.

Shin Yoon-seung said, "My schedule has gotten busy, but I will continue to perform at small theaters," and whined, "Wouldn't senior Hyung-bin hate it if I quit just because I'm famous?"

He added, "I received a lot of help from performing at the Yoon Hyung-bin Small Theater. If the theater's sales increase because of me and I can help, that would be great. That's why I want to work even harder."

We were also able to confirm Shin Yoon-seung's love for his juniors. He bought dinner for his juniors who were having a meeting in the 'Gag Concert' research building. Also, rookie comedian Oh Jung-yool saw Shin Yoon-seung's fan meeting as the MC, and revealed that he was surprised when Shin Yoon-seung gave him 1 million won in cash as a thank you.

Shin Yoon-seung said, "I'm not making that much money yet, but among my juniors and aspiring students, there are some who are having it harder than me," explaining why he opens his wallet to them.

Shin Yoon-seung is currently appearing on KBS2's 'Gag Concert', which airs every Sunday at 10:35 PM, and is also performing at the Hongdae Yoon Hyung-bin Small Theater, 'the nation's number one comedy theater'. He also runs a comedy YouTube channel called 'Comedian', which has 640,000 subscribers.
