Kim Myung-min loses his son in hit-and-run accident
The breathtaking battle of respected judge Son Hyun-joo has begun.

Episode 1 of the Genie TV original drama 'Your Honor', which first aired on the 12th, quickly unfolded the process in which judge Song Pan-ho (played by Son Hyun-joo), who turned his back on justice to protect his son, conceals the truth.

The broadcast that day depicted the story of a father and son whose whole life was turned upside down by Song Ho-young (played by Kim Do-hoon), the son of Song Pan-ho, who became a murderer in a moment of accident. When Song Pan-ho first learned of this, he tried to make Song Ho-young turn himself in and confront him head-on, but when he learned that the deceased was Kim Sang-hyun (played by Shin Ye-chan), the second son of Kim Kang-heon (played by Kim Myung-min), the chairman of Woowon Group, the absolute power holder in Woowon City, his attitude changed 180 degrees.

Song Pan-ho not only organized everything from Song Ho-young's clothes to the accident vehicle, but also destroyed evidence one by one, following the timeline of the day of the accident that he had received from Song Ho-young. Song Pan-ho, who had moved so fiercely that his former kind and righteous appearance could not be found, showed complicated feelings when he received warm greetings from the victim's family who came to express their gratitude for the previous verdict. The weight of his agony that could not be measured could be seen in his tears left alone.

Kim Kang-heon, who was incarcerated in prison, took a desperate step toward his release after hearing the sudden news of his son's death. He burst into tears, pouring out his deep sorrow as he faced the cold corpse of his son, with whom he had been smiling on the phone just a short while ago.

Kim Kang-heon's family, who assumed that someone had intentionally killed their son, held the funeral in a cold, gloomy atmosphere after hearing that he might have survived if he had been transferred to the hospital immediately after the accident. However, the atmosphere changed when the eldest son, Kim Sang-hyeok (played by Heo Nam-joon), who was in the United States, appeared at the funeral. He was treated harshly because he was not welcome even in the family, so he provoked Kim Kang-heon, who was quietly staying, and declared revenge on the criminal in front of numerous reporters.

At the end of the play, Kim Kang-heon, who was alone at his son's funeral, listened to the recorded file of the call from his son's phone number and discovered something strange, which made the tension reach its peak. Kim Kang-heon's eyes, who had been listening to the sound of panting, changed subtly for a moment. Attention is focused on whether Kim Kang-heon will be able to find out the truth behind his son's death, and whether Song Pan-ho, who confronts him, will be able to keep his son's secret until the end.

'Your Honor' has been captivating viewers since its first episode with its sweeping plot and tight, flawless composition. It also captivated Monday nights with its massive scale and sensational directing, providing the ultimate sense of immersion.

In particular, Son Hyun-joo, who plays Judge Song Pan-ho, who reveals his survival instinct hidden behind his honor to protect his son, and Kim Myung-min, who portrays the other side of Kim Kang-heon, a powerful man who displays an overpowering charisma but becomes infinitely weak in front of his son, gave overwhelming performances that truly lived up to the title of "acting master." Add to this the solid performances of rising rookie actors Kim Do-hoon and Heo Nam-joon, and you have a grand prelude to the suspense masterpiece "Your Honor."

The full-scale fatherly instinct confrontation between Son Hyun-joo and Kim Myung-min, who are at opposite ends of the spectrum, continues in episode 2 of the drama 'Your Honor', which airs today (the 13th) at 10 PM on Genie TV, Genie TV Mobile, and ENA.
