The TV Chosun episode 'Sikgaek Heo Young-man's Baekban Travels' (hereafter referred to as 'Baekban Travels') that aired on the 11th featured a 'summer noodle special' with singer John Park, where they tasted various noodles in Seoul, Goyang, Paju, and Incheon.

John Park showed off his extraordinary 'noodle love' side. John Park, who ordered bibim guksu at a restaurant, recalled, "I liked bibim guksu the best. When I studied late into the night, my mother would make bibim guksu for me as a late-night snack." John Park, who said that he ate kongguksu when it was hot in the US, recalled, "Even when I was in the US, my mother would boil somen noodles and make bibim guksu with kongguksu. But it was different from what I eat in Korea."

The mentor who led John Park into the world of Pyongyang Naengmyeon was singer Lee Juck. John Park first learned about Pyongyang Naengmyeon through Lee Juck, and revealed that he learned everything from the 'history of Naengmyeon' to 'Seonju Humyeon' from Lee Juck. John Park said, "I've lived abroad for a long time, so I'm a bit bland and plain, but I was surprised by the delicious Pyongyang Naengmyeon."

John Park revealed an episode from when he was dating his current wife that he received help from 'Baekban Travel'. At the time, when his girlfriend said she wanted to eat seolleongtang, John Park revealed that he planned the date course by watching the diners' reactions on 'Baekban Travel'.

John Park said, "When we were dating, if my wife said, 'I want to eat seolleongtang,' I would look for the places that Mr. Heo Young-man frequented," and "Out of all those places, I would go to the place that he particularly liked." Heo Young-man was delighted and said, "He has a palate that knows taste." In June 2022, John Park married a non-celebrity woman whom he had dated for a year, and had a daughter in September 2023. John Park has revealed that he fell in love with his beautiful wife at first sight.

John Park immigrated to the United States when he was in the fourth grade of elementary school. He was said to have been a hard worker who maintained top grades during his school years. He entered Northwestern University, which is considered one of the most prestigious universities in the United States.

Heo Young-man asked, "When I heard that you dropped out of middle school, I thought, 'There's someone with a lower education level than me,' and it turns out you went to America." John Park answered, "I lived in Korea until elementary school and went to America in the 4th grade."

Heo Young-man asked, "You probably didn't know English back then, right?" John Park confessed, "I didn't know. I worked several times harder than others. I memorized a lot of words, wrote a lot, and tried to make a lot of foreign friends." Although there were many hardships in a foreign land, he said that he worked hard with the mindset that "there's nothing you can't do if you try." When Heo Young-man asked, "Were you a good student?" John Park confidently answered, "I was a good student."

John Park revealed the story of how he became a singer. John Park, who was an ordinary college student, went to an audition with a friend who dreamed of becoming a singer, and told the story of how he became a star overnight.
